Her family History: Ashlee’s parents Joe and Tina Simpson have been married for 27 years. Joe was a psychologist who served as a youth minister in the local Baptist church. Joe has recently started his own label named JT Records and acts as a music manager for Ashlee, Jessica and artist Ryan Cabrera.
