Her Family History: Alyssa was born to Italian-American parents. Her father Thomas is a film music editor & her mother Lin is a fashion designer & also Alyssa’s personal manager. Alyssa was born in a working-class neighbourhood and grew up in a house on Staten Island. Alyssa’s brother Cory is also an actor. Alyssa’s family once suffered a tragic house fire, Alyssa’s dad Thomas went back into the house to save the dog, risking his own life. After the search for the dog became impossible, Thomas had to escape the house injuring himself jumping out of a second storey window. The dog unfortunately did not survive. Alyssa also has famous actor cousins; Eric Lloyd and Emily Ann Lloyd.

      Alyssa acquired her first acting role at the age of 7 in an 18 month national tour of ‘Annie’ when Alyssa’s babysitter; an aspiring dancer, dragged her along to the open audition, Alyssa beat her babysitter & 1,500 others to get the role of an orphan. Alyssa then went on to star in Broadway productions an TV commercials
