Her Family History: Anna’s father Sergei wrestled professionally and coached tennis part-time. Sergei and Anna’s mother Alla both encouraged Anna to take part in physical activity from an early age. When Anna was 7 years old, Sergei began teaching her how to play Tennis and since then, she has barely put down the racquet. Anna was born in Moscow, but her family immigrated to the USA.
